Chapter 632: THE PRINCE'S LEVEL
Chapter 632: THE PRINCE'S LEVEL
Emmy was currently occupied in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Earlier, they had received a message from Astrid, informing them that they were already nearing the planet. Emmy and Gage had expected their arrival around lunchtime, so they hadn't begun cooking yet. Fortunately, all the ingredients were prepped and ready, leaving Emmy with nothing more to do than to start cooking.
Although she wasn't as skilled as her son, cooking alongside Astrid over the years had significantly improved her culinary abilities. She had even learned several new recipes from Astrid, dishes so unique that she didn't even know their names. When she asked her son where he had picked up these recipes, Astrid simply mentioned finding them in a cookbook while browsing the Cybernet.
The book was filled with recipes from a country in the East on ancient Earth.
Emmy didn't question it. Astrid had always been a curious child, constantly using his Terminal to explore all kinds of books, from history to general knowledge. It wasn't surprising that he stumbled upon a cookbook like that. Besides, there was no reason for him to lie about something so trivial. So why question it?
Especially when their family had enjoyed so many new and delicious dishes because of it.
"Emmy, I just got a message from Aster—they've already entered the planet," Gage said as he walked into the kitchen to update his wife.

"Hmm, perfect timing. I'm almost finished here," Emmy replied.
Gage took a seat on one of the bar stools, watching his wife as she worked. After a moment, he couldn't help but ask, "Emmy, how are you feeling?"
Emmy paused and glanced over at her husband. Seeing the concern etched on his face, a warm smile instantly crossed her lips. Because she knew exactly why Gage was asking that question.
He was likely worried about the fact that, after more than two decades, she was finally going to meet her father and brothers. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure how she felt about it. Part of her was excited—after all, it had been over twenty years. But another part of her was reluctant, especially when it came to facing her father and older brother.
With that, they made their way to the Townsend home.
Nicol looked out of the car window, his eyes shining as he stared at the scenery outside. "Brother Aster, are the lands outside part of your farm?"
Astrid chuckled at the question. "No, we'll actually pass by our house first before we get a glimpse of the farm."
"Can we tour later?"
Astrid ruffled Nicol's hair. "Of course."
Wulfric, sitting beside him, cleared his throat. "I would also like a tour."
Nicol looked over Wulfric's side and glared at him. "Why are you copying me?"
Wulfric shot back with a glare. "Who's copying who? Don't you think you're being a bit too sensitive?"
Sitting between the two, Astrid calmly placed his hands between them and said with a hint of amusement, "Now, now, let's not fight."
The two shot each other one final glare before turning away with a quiet "hmph."
Casey, sitting in the passenger seat, had initially wanted a tour as well. But after watching the prince bicker with his eight-year-old nephew, he quickly changed his mind. The thought of saying the same thing made him feel like he'd be stooping to the prince's level, and his pride just wouldn't allow that.
